[Aira is So Offended as he leads Hiiro into the teahouse and to the room they've apparently had this entire time.]

( hiiro follows, eyes wide in a half-daze before he just. bursts out laughing. )

We were so scared! And for nothing! I was so prepared to ruin everything...! But... I'm glad it's you. It's really, actually you, officially.

[Aira pulls out his fan to hide their faces as he leans in for a kiss.]

( hiiro squeaks a little at the kiss but is beaming afterwards. the waitress giggles- she is going to gossip later. once they get to the private room, she slides the door open for them and bows politely like they weren't just stealing kisses and also planning to run away in case they somehow weren't marrying each other. )

Ah- yes, thank you...

( ... so like. is this tea room just... a date? that their parents are paying for? )

[Apparently! Aira takes a seat and starts to pour Hiiro tea.]

I'm surprised they want me to marry you, though, and not your brother. He's still single, isn't he?

Yes, but he's also next in line for the throne. Father is probably taking that much more seriously... especially as Nii-san has been acting out more.

( said with an uncharacteristic huff, but. well. aira's his now. their families even said so. this is precisely what he wanted, he's winning at life honestly.

( hiiro finally laughs- soft and warm, not like his usual boisterous laugh, before pulling aira a little closer. )

( well a crying aira is illegal. so hiiro gently cups his face with one hand, looks at how soft and beautiful he is, before leaning in for a soft and innocent kiss. )

[A soft innocent kiss that very quickly turns into Aira tearing up out of joy.]

( said softly, reverently almost- all while he gently wipes away the tears with his thumb. )

[Aira can't help but laugh and lean into Hiiro's touch.]

I'll be the best wife, I promise. [Oh.] Uh, do you want to call me your wife? I'm fine either way.

Uh... I'm. I don't know? I think either way you'd be really cute and good at it.

I'm going to be the best! [. . .] I'm going to have to learn how to sew, hm. You're second son, do you have servants or anything?

Yes! Though, they all favor Father and Nii-san more. ... Oh, that doesn't mean they don't pay attention to my areas, but they have to focus on them more. I don't think you'll need to pick any skills up, though...
