[Ain's happy chirping leaves Vash feeling light and happy himself. This is all going...surprisingly well! Shockingly well, given their usual track record of...barely managing to stay in one location for a week before shit hits the proverbial fan.

Of course that means that there has to be a fountain in the middle of the square. And while you'd think Vash would realize the danger looming...he does not. He just smiles and looks off elsewhere while Ain stares at the fountain like :D?]

It reminds me of one I visited a couple times before...it was before I met you. It was poorer than this town, but the people who lived there all lived modestly...and they were all very kind.
