[It’s been a long time for Vash, too. Decades long. So when their waitress returns, Vash orders for both of them just as she sets down their twin mugs of ale. For Vash, this is nostalgic, bittersweet. That town he used to visit, when the people were in good spirits and a good place, would treat the tavern to drinks. Vash was no exception to this, and in fact would find more than he could drink foisted onto him, until he discovered for the first time the joys of a hangover. Vash certainly doesn’t get to drink often, so whether or not he’s gained a tolerance remains to be seen.
He still seems to have a taste for it though as he quickly knocks part of his drink back, leaning back in his seat with a contented sigh after.]
