Vash’s heart rate flies into the triple digits he’s certain, and the kiss is so soft and gentle that he can’t help but make a sound against Ain’s lips as it happens. He’s swiftly enveloped in those warm wings, which prompts Vash to reach both hands up to cup Ain’s cheeks. He doesn’t think about his prosthetic being cold, so hopefully it isn’t too icy as they kiss, Vash instinctively remembering to tilt his head now as their lips move.
Humans are meant to be with humans. Relationships with pets are strictly forbidden and largely frowned upon, and illegal in a worst case scenario. Yet Vash has only ever felt this kind of warmth over select few in his life, and none have been this intense or potent.
