[Vash is used to feeling out of control and vulnerable. Most of the time, when he's up against people who want him incarcerated, dead, or both, he's struggling to be in control of anything, much less the situation or himself to an even lesser degree. But he's realizing, like this? He feels the same, except it's in a controlled environment, with someone he trusts with his life. It doesn't instil the same anxiety and fear in him, no. It's exciting, thrilling, leaving him constantly on the edge and wanting for more.
