If Vash had to guess, his focus isn’t on him right now at all, but instead gathering up pets from all over from various cities. He knows he can draw Vash out like a mouse to a trap whenever he wants, and they have all the time in the world. He’s biding his time, perhaps…
Vash relaxes the moment Ain moves in close, prompting him to wrap an arm loosely around Ain’s waist. There’s a little convenient lip in the rocks to sit on which Vash is taking advantage of, and it’s hard not to sigh with pleasure and relief at how nice the hot water feels to his muscles.]
